Smart Home Automation allows the automatic grip of frequently used elements such as home appliances, security, Heating Ventilation & Air-Conditioning (HVAC), Music and other home devices such as washer/dryers, ovens or refrigerators/freezers, in a manner that is personalized to the needs of each family.
As technology continues to evolve in the home automation space, so does the need to organize different devices in a cohesive, centralized system. And that’s exactly what home automation hubs do: they ensure that all your connected devices talk to each other, giving you control over your entire home with the push of a button or through mobile apps just by a touch or by voice.
The objective of this system is to provide safety, security and comfort features to a household via a special connected platform which will enable its occupants to remotely control and program an array of automated home electronic devices. The system, through its functioning, is expected to give a maximum level of convenience and accessibility with full control of programming in hand.
For example, most of our homes have smoke detectors that detect high levels of smoke and warn us if there is a hazard. However, they don’t intervene and prevent the situation from getting worse. We knew a better solution was needed so we designed a service that not only prevents hazardous situations but reacts to prevent them from escalating.
The smartphone app we are planning to build allows you to easily monitor and control your home environment and the status of the devices working under it to protect your home. You will also receive real-time alerts if a hazard is detected or if you left the house in a hurry and any kind of emergency arises. But you don’t just get alerts! You can also turn off or change the functioning levels of the devices right from your phone!
